Rothbaum will be exhibiting for the first time at ACHEMA, the leading trade fair for the process industry. At stand E69 in hall 11 (Digital Hub), we will be presenting new process mining apps as an interactive demo. In line with this, Dr. Clemens Wolf (Head of Digital Operations) will be giving a presentation on the topic of Using process mining as the basis and starting point for industrial AI. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Portalhaus.
Industrial AI, i.e. the use of AI solutions to improve operational processes in production and manufacturing, is becoming a game changer not only for companies per se, but also for society as a whole. We are facing the major challenge of having to increase productivity in order to maintain our prosperity. At the same time, however, demographic change means that there are fewer workers available and we should use fewer resources in order to protect the environment.
Industrial AI is nothing less than the key to solving these contradictory challenges. By using AI solutions, processes are already being optimized in real time to increase capacity, improve quality and ensure availability. However, data quality is often a major obstacle. Process mining is therefore an ideal entry-level technology for finally using AI in operations. In his presentation on 12 June at 10:30 a.m., Dr. Clemens Wolf will therefore discuss the possible applications of process mining as a basis for data acquisition, process monitoring and process optimization. In this context, he will present the latest developments in object-oriented process mining and explain how the technology is already supporting companies in the operational use of AI solutions.
“We are very pleased to present our new Celonis apps on sustainability in operations and production optimization as well as process mining with SAP EWM at ACHEMA. The apps combine many of our developed solutions with process mining. As a plug-and-play solution, they can be used directly in operations. They allow companies to see, for example, whether changes and adjustments made to the production process have had a positive impact on throughput times or buffer areas in front of plants, or which effects have a negative impact on thecarbon footprint of each individual item. Many of our customers are already using these functionalities to monitor and control their operational areas.”
In addition to the interactive demo and application examples of process mining, Rothbaum will also be presenting use cases and references for the introduction or transformation of systems such as WMS, TMS, PPS and ERP at ACHEMA. Further information and guidelines will also be available at the stand. Rothbaum will also be demonstrating how visTABLE® can be used to digitally develop an optimal warehouse and factory layout.
ACHEMA is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the process industry, chemical engineering and biotechnology. It takes place every three years in Frankfurt am Main and provides a platform for companies to showcase the latest technologies, products and services. The fair attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world and serves as an important meeting place for industry experts to exchange information on current trends, explore business opportunities and expand networks. In addition to the exhibition, technical presentations, panel discussions and workshops offer insights into innovative developments and forward-looking solutions for the process industry. ACHEMA is therefore an important event for experts, researchers and companies active in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food production, energy and environmental sectors.
