With our Digital Twin as a Service, we enable companies to easily get started with digital twins—without needing their own infrastructure, additional licenses, or specialized in-house resources. We handle the setup, operation, maintenance, and further development of the model, analyze the results, and present them in customized BI dashboards. In addition, we provide support for ad hoc analyses and the implementation of individual or multiple use cases. This allows you to benefit from our supply chain and digital twin expertise, avoid high operational costs, and receive a service package flexibly tailored to your needs.
Setting up the infrastructure
We set everything up and provide the necessary resources
We’ll set everything up for you and provide the necessary resources. Our Digital Twin Service includes the complete provision of all components required for the successful implementation of a digital twin. All you need to do is grant us access to your data. We then securely transfer your data to our environment, integrate it into the Digital Twin, and generate the necessary reports using the appropriate BI software. Depending on your preferred Digital Twin software, we can deliver your analyses using either Tableau or PowerBI.
If necessary, the simulated data from the Digital Twin can also be fed back into your IT environment so that you can integrate it into your own workflows. To do this, we’ll coordinate with your IT department to ensure a smooth flow of data.

Implementation of the digital twin
Setting up the model in the selected environment
To build the digital twin, we use various master, order, and transaction data from your ERP system, such as material, customer, and supplier master data, customer orders, purchase orders, and delivery notes. We supplement this data with additional details, such as transportation, process, and location costs, to generate a digital representation of your value creation network.
Through process documentation and discussions with the relevant departments, we identify the set of rules governing your value creation network, which we then model in the Digital Twin. For example, this includes lead times from customer order to delivery, as well as inventory management strategies for various product groups. We map this set of rules using Digital Twin software and calibrate the model to reflect reality. For more information on model creation and the required data, please visit our main Digital Twin page.
Use case definition
Definition of the update rate and model execution
Together with you, we define one or more use cases for the Digital Twin. We determine the frequency of model execution, when new data becomes available, and at what point we transfer it to the Digital Twin. We’ll also work with you to determine which results you need from the Digital Twin, how they should be provided, and to whom they should be made available. You can choose between a simple BI update or a fully automated integration that automatically distributes the new insights to the relevant specialists.

Continuous service and support
The right support package for your needs
As part of our Digital Twin Service, we offer you ongoing service and support tailored precisely to your needs. Depending on the size and scope of your model and how you plan to use the digital twin, we provide a variety of support packages. This allows you to choose how many consulting days you’ll have available per year and how the collaboration should be structured. Of course, our Digital Twin Service also accommodates individual needs—for example, a fixed number of days per month or bundled work phases on specific dates.
Basic Package:
- 5 consulting days per year
- Execution and adaptation of the model to the defined schedule
- Additional analyses can be carried out as part of the model execution if budget is available
- Suitable for: 1-2 use cases that are executed a few times a year (e.g. annually, semi-annually, quarterly)
Silver Package:
- 10 consulting days per year
- Execution and adaptation of the model to the defined schedule
- Ad hoc analyses are processed and made available within 2 weeks
- Suitable for: multiple use cases, some of which must be run as often as once a month. Occasional additional requests for non-time-sensitive ad hoc analyses
Gold Package:
- 20 consulting days per year
- Execution and adaptation of the model to the defined schedule
- Ad-hoc analyses are processed and made available within 3 working days
- Suitable for: several to many use cases, some of which must be executed very frequently. Frequent requests for ad hoc analyses
