The new supply chain event

DLK becomes BVL Supply Chain CX: The German Logistics Congress has been the meeting place for the logistics community for 40 years. BVL Supply Chain CX combines this tradition with the future. The CX will also offer the 5,000 participants in-depth content, top-class speakers, community building and networking. BVL will present itself on 20,000 m² of congress and expo space together with other established players and innovators in the supply chain sector. Networking, exchanging ideas, exhibiting – this is where everyone interested in the logistics industry meets.

The 7 key topics:

  1. Sustainable logistics: The aim of sustainable logistics is to minimize the environmental impact of logistics. At the same time, however, it should ensure economic efficiency and assume social responsibility. At the CX, you can find out all about reporting obligations, alternative drive types, changes to supply chains and projects that have won the Lean and Green Award, among other things.
  2. Resilience and agility: Resilience and agility in logistics are two concepts that focus on a company’s ability to adapt to unexpected disruptions and changes. At the same time, they respond flexibly to market conditions. BVL shows what these aspects can mean for your company in terms of competitiveness and location policy, supply chain design or control towers.
  3. Future of Organizations & People: How must companies adapt to technological, social, economic and ecological changes? And how do these aspects affect their structures, flexibility, processes and the role of employees? The focus here is on topics such as cultural change, success-oriented corporate culture and changes in the hiring process and supply chain leadership.
  4. Transformation of Logistics Service Providers: In order to adapt to new technological, economic, ecological and social conditions, companies in the logistics sector are undergoing far-reaching changes. BVL will explain what this means for business model development and the view of markets and regions in exciting sessions and discussion panels.
  5. Digitalization of supply chain: Digitalization has been advancing rapidly in the supply chain for years. Digital tools need to be implemented in order to network, optimize and automate all aspects of the supply chain. Top speakers will address digitalization, cloud technologies and software for the supply chain in their sessions. The topic of cyber security is also more topical than ever before and does not stop at logistics.
  6. Innovation Strategies in Logistics Technology: Automation and robotics are finding their way into warehousing and order picking as well as in the field of autonomous vehicles. At BVL Supply Chain CX, you can find out what the ideal smart factory looks like and which systems are state of the art.
  7. Artificial intelligence & machine learning: The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning holds great potential for transforming logistics processes. At the same time, organizations face challenges such as regulatory requirements, cultural hurdles and fear of the unknown. In order to exploit this potential, AI must be strategically anchored in the company.
