Rothbaum will once again be exhibiting at the Aachen Machine Tool Colloquium on May 11 and 12, 2023 at stand 18, where the technical consultancy will be presenting the new Celonis app “Rothbaum Production Flow Control Cockpit” as an interactive demo. In addition, Dr.-Ing. Kai Philipp Bauer and Dr. Clemens Wolf will also be presenting use cases of product mining in complexity management at the stand.
Dr. Clemens Wolf (Manager Digital Operations) comments: “We are very pleased to present our new app “Rothbaum Production Flow Control Cockpit” at the AWK. The Celonis app combines many of our developed solutions for production optimization with process mining. It supports production planning with real-time transparency regarding machine utilization as well as buffer and transport times in order to profitably optimize plant utilization. Thanks to comprehensive 360° analyses, production planning can also recognize whether changes and adjustments made to the process have had the desired success. A continuous review of the throughput, insertion and provision times also makes it possible to constantly check the replenishment time for each product. The app can also be used to investigate the causes of non-compliance with provision times down to order level. Many of our customers are already using these functionalities to monitor and control their production planning.”
Rothbaum will also be showcasing examples of product mining applications in complexity management at the stand. “Product mining is a new, data-driven platform technology for making complexity management in manufacturing companies more efficient and effective. With product mining, significantly more and better product-centric decisions can be made in less time. Product Mining thus enables modern complexity management,” says Dr. Kai Philipp Bauer (Managing Director).
Rothbaum will also be presenting use cases on digital twins and supply chain resilience in logistics and supply chains at the stand. Rothbaum will also be demonstrating how visTABLE® can be used to digitally develop an optimal warehouse and factory layout.
The Aachen Machine Tool Colloquium has been held regularly in Aachen since 1948. Participants from industry and science discuss current developments and opportunities in production technology. This year, the event’s main theme is “Empower Green Production” with a focus on approaches and developments towards a more sustainable, energy- and resource-efficient industry.
