Kai Philipp Bauer is the Managing Director of Rothbaum Consulting Engineers in Hamburg and heads the Supply Chain division. He assists companies in the manufacturing industry with the further development of their strategy, organization, and operational processes. His work focuses on how to effectively combine operational efficiency in day-to-day business with a clear strategic direction and digital transformation.
Kai Philipp Bauer has been working in consulting for more than 15 years and brings extensive experience in the areas of operations management, supply chain, and corporate strategy. He is known for a clearly structured, implementation-oriented consulting approach that reduces complexity and focuses on concrete results.
He earned his degree in mechanical engineering, with a focus on production engineering, from RWTH Aachen University. He then earned his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Munich, with a focus on location decisions in distribution.
